The kit consists of an electric motor, a battery pack and an electronic controller. The combustion engine and the electric motor are coupled to the vehicle directly. |

All combustion engines have a certain RPM range in which they are most efficient. In this range, the vehicle is typically traveling at a constant speed. The low range i.e. when the vehicle is accelerating from rest or at high range i.e. when the vehicle is overtaking at high speeds, the engine is least efficient. Our kit will reduce these regions of inefficiency by providing the propulsion force. The reduced load on the engine is what gives the engine it's efficiency. |

The price depends upon the kind of vehicle and is different for each application. For e.g. for a medium sized passenger car the price may be around US $1200. For a large commercial vehicle such as the Tata LP 1512 series the price shoots up to $3500 as we need a larger motor and more battery packs. |

The battery life depends upon usage. For a vehicle that covers about 600 kms a day, the batteries will need to replaced every 4 years. However, even if batteries are replaced every 4 years, the return on investment over the life of the vehicle is about 15 times the entire cost of the kit. |
